(For some reason this didn't post. This was suppose to be posted Monday 8th.)
Just completed my second full day on the WildFitness course and I am feeling muscles I didn't even know existed!
The location, Baraka House, is a beautiful house on looking the ocean. It is originally a family home that was designed in feet, but the builders somehow accidently made it in metres. So it is a little bigger than the family had expected! But they sure have put it to good use with Wildfintess starting and different clients pouring in and out.
Sunday 7th:
6.45 - structural hygeine : this involved using foam rollers tennis balls and golf balls to basically self massage and learn about the facia in our bodies and how to target it.
- animal circuit : kind of explains itself eh?
8.30 - breakfast
10.00 - back to basics : understanding our bodies and joints. Going back to natural movement. The hunters squat!!
11.00 - massage
12.00 - wild mindset workshop : through out the course, every day at 12 there will be a workshop to educate us on thinking more about our wild side (not partying etc) but how being more natural and going back to our roots benefits us in so many ways.
1.00 - lunch
4.15 - boxing fundamentals : again, kind if explains itself. It's awesome and I love it. Super tiring tho!
7.15 - dinner
So that's the general gist of the days here. Today we did swimming, running, hanging and climbing (with some serious blister accompanying that) and a lot of lifting. Now just waiting for dinner! Yum!
The food here is all natural. Nothing processed. Nothing fake. It is all good for you. You can feel your body thanking you and generally feeling so much better.
Movement is natural and so should are food be.........but not gonna lie, definitely gonna have a massive pancake on my morning off!!!! I'm still a sweet tooth! It might totally defeat the point, but it's only one, it can't hurt right? That's what I'm telling myself anyway!
