So a group of us went to Kilifi to check out the backpackers lodge we had heard about.

 

As soon as I walked in I felt like I was on my gap year. Literally people with backpacks rolling in to stay over night or for months at a time.

With a bar, a pool, a kitchen, volleyball court, piglets, guinea pigs, compost toilets and its own 'private beach,' it gave off a very cool vibe.

 

Had our own BBQ in the evening and ended up playing cards with a few new characters.
