Last Friday, instead of hockey, I had to opportunity to go stand up paddle boarding with the Parazzis. It consisted of battling with the tide, fighting with the wind, struggling through the waves, wrestling with fins, catching a wave...on my back, crying with laughter, dead legs, mounting kayaks, and invading a family selfie.
Came out of it with a slashed knee, several colourful bruises and tummy half full of sea/creek water.
All in all an awesome experience.
